Quotes

“Y’all. Today I experienced my first slam poetry night. The lovely Sierra DeMulder was AMAZING. She’s brilliant, inspiring, and hilarious. All of her poems can touch anyone in a way. Sat front row, and left with a new perspective.” – Southwestern University

“It was just surreal to meet someone who I’ve been listening to for years, who inspired me to write poems and not be afraid to be real in them, and who gave me hope when I was struggling.” – Maryland Institute College of Art

“The beauty of her spoken word is that she takes topics that are considered taboo or ‘we don’t talk about that’ and talks about them and puts a little humor into it. She struck so many emotions inside of me that made me laugh and cry and that’s a characteristic of a great performer.” – University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point
