Alright so for the most part college has started across the entire country on every campus! Whether you are in your first, second, or third week of school we are all in the beginning of the semester! Which means organizations on every campus is looking for new members, new leaders, and new faces to share treasured memories with! College is a time of life where so much is happening for you as a person, a student and a professional and the time truly does fly by. So we set out on a project to figure out what kind of advice we could give you to slow the time down. We talked with alumni across many different campuses and it turns out no matter what you do you can’t slow down the time you have in college. Now for some that may seem bleak, but instead of that solution we discovered a pattern of those former students that loved their college experience. The pattern was that for those that look back on their college years with a certain glee it is because of the memories and times they are thinking back too. Life is much like this, in that it is all about the memories you create and they people you create them with! In college especially in the beginning of each semester and year you will have a plethora of opportunities to create memories that will last you a lifetime! You may now be wondering, “Well, heck yeah I want to create those memories, but how exactly do I go about doing that?” So, we asked that same question to more alumni and even current students that are in their junior and senior year and they all had a unified response. Which was, ‘To involve yourself in organizations that you have a passion for or want to join and be active within that organization to get the most out of your experience!’ Involvement is a big key into truly loving your college experience! Finding an organization with your niche will allow you to create friends, relationships, and memories that years down the line will leave you with a warm fond memory of college. Involvement while key in college to create the happiness we all so often seek, is also a major factor in today’s society as well! Too often it is forgotten that the more we act and be involved in our relationships, our community, and our world the better life will be for those around us. So in the strongest of terms we encourage all of you reading this, specifically those in college, to get involved and we promise you will be glad you did!
